Day 1 – Arrival In Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival, a representative from our company will warmly greet you at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you might have the opportunity to relax and prepare for the exciting adventure that lies ahead.
Arusha, a vibrant hub of safari life in northern Tanzania, is a key gateway for travellers embarking on their safari journeys. It’s a lively city where many visitors begin their unforgettable adventures in this stunning region.

Day 2 – Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Upon your arrival in Arusha, you’ll meet your driver-guide who will offer a warm welcome before setting off to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy an exhilarating game drive through the park, with a picnic lunch amidst the breathtaking scenery.
Tarangire National Park is named after the Tarangire River, the essential water source for wildlife during the dry season. The park is famed for its impressive herds of elephants, striking baobab trees, and the elusive tree-climbing African pythons.
After a day of wildlife exploration, you’ll head to Karatu for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at Eileen’s Tree Inn. Here, you can unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures, with all meals and drinking water included.
Day 3 – Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast, you’ll journey up into the cooler highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Take a moment to marvel at the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater before continuing through the conservation area toward the Serengeti, entering from the southern part of the park.
The Serengeti is renowned for its stunning expanses of open grasslands, providing exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. The park is particularly famous for the Great Migration, where vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelope move in a continuous search for fresh grazing. Depending on the time of year, you may witness this extraordinary spectacle, often hailed as one of the “Seven Wonders of the Natural World.”
You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch amid the Serengeti’s magnificent scenery before settling in for the night at Kon tiki Serengeti Camp, where all meals and drinking water are included.
Day 4 – Serengeti National Park.
Today, you’ll embark on both morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park, where your guide will assist you in exploring the vast Serengeti plains and spotting a diverse array of wildlife.
The Serengeti, located in northern Tanzania, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site covering approximately 15,000 square kilometers. It supports an incredible array of wildlife, including over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and around 500 bird species. During the dry season, the park is famous for its large herds of migratory wildebeests and zebras. Additionally, the Northern Serengeti is home to abundant resident wildlife such as lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and the elusive oribi antelope.
After a day of thrilling wildlife encounters, you’ll return to Eileen’s Tree Inn for the night, where all meals and drinking water are provided.
Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
After breakfast, you’ll journey toward Ngorongoro Crater, with the opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty along the way. The Ngorongoro Crater, formed by a massive volcanic explosion and collapse 2 to 3 million years ago, is a pristine wilderness surrounded by steep volcanic walls. Inside, you’ll find a diverse landscape of sweeping savannahs, acacia woodlands, glistening lakes, and swamps.
Descending into the crater is an adventure in itself. Once you reach the crater floor, you’ll encounter a wealth of wildlife, including large herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and over 500 bird species. The crater is also one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhino, which sometimes appears in the open grasslands.
After a day of exploration, you’ll return to Eileen’s Tree Inn for the night, where all meals and drinking water are included.
Day 6 – Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha
After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel or lodge and take you to Lake Manyara National Park for a day of exciting game viewing and a picnic lunch.
Lake Manyara National Park spans 330 square kilometres (127 square miles), with up to 200 square kilometres (77 square miles) of this area covered by the lake during high water levels. The park is renowned for its excellent bird-watching opportunities and is also home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos, and the elusive tree-climbing lions. During your game drive, you’ll have the chance to stretch your legs and observe hippos at the hippo pool.
After your exploration, you’ll be transferred to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, where your safari will conclude. Breakfast, lunch, and drinking water are included throughout the day. Note that no overnight accommodation is provided.
